Invitation to re-issued Bid

Supply of Edible oil only

The Ethiopian Evangelical Church Mekane Yesus Development and Social Services Commission - North Area Work (EECMY-DASSC-NAW) hereby re-issues an Invitation to Bid for the supply of Edible Oil (20-liter capacity), fortified with Vitamin A, in accordance with the Ethiopian Standard (CES 244), including transportation service, for the EECMY-DASSC-NAW-BO Compassion Project in Adwa Town, Tigray Regional State.

The Commission (EECMY-DASSC) invites only reputable, reliable, and licensed wholesalers to participate in the bid in accordance with the following conditions and specifications.

1. Interested and eligible bidders can obtain further detail information's directly from the EECMY-DASSC-NAW-BO at the address given below during office hours within the indicated dates.

2. For any interested bidder the bid announcement is opened up to January 15 /2026 4:00 PM from the date of the announcement at the address given below.

3. Interested Bidders are requested to deliver sealed bid documents original and copy of Technical and Financial proposal separately to EECMY-DASSC-BO- Tigray Mekelle, (located near Tigray police commission or in front of Atse Yohannes Elementary school) within seven (10) consecutive days from the announcement of this bid.

4.Bids shall be valid for a period of thirty (30) days after Bid opening. Bids must be accompanied by bid bond of Birr Ten Thousand (10,000.00) in the form of Cashier's. Payment Order (CPO) and shall be marked payable to EECMY- DASSC and issued by eligible Ethiopian Bank.

5. Bidders must attach valid business/trade license, VAT registration, supplier data Registration certificate for the current year, Tax clearance, good performance evidence and past work experience in related field.

6. Bids shall be closed on January 15/ 2026 at 4:00 PM and will be opened on the same date January 15/ 2026 at 4:30 PM, at the EECMY - DASSC- BO- Mekelle (located near Tigray police commission or in front of Atse Yohannes Elementary school) in the presence of bidders or duly authorized representatives who wish to attend. The commission, (EECMY-DASSC) reserves the right to partially or as whole to change or cancel the bid.

7. Bidders can take the bid documents by paying 500.00 ETB (Five hundred birr only from EECMY DASSC-BO- Mekelle (located near Tigray police commission or in front of Atse Yohannes Elementary school)

8. BID documents must be submitted in English (clearly labeled with company name, address and legal stamp)

9. Submission of Bid after the dead line will not considered and accepted.

10. Electronic Bids are not allowed.

11. The winning bidder will announce officially after summing up all total price (Arithmetic check)

12. The winner should supply the items in accordance with the requirement or specification of the BID, i.e in quantity, quality and time. But if the winner supplier fails to deliver the items in accordance with the requirements, our organization is not bound by this BID.

13. Winner suppliers must be Material delivered within maxim having agreement.

1. Term of Payment

✔ No advance payment before material supplied.

✔ The total payment will pay after the winner upplier supplies the material based on the specifications and standards

2. General Condition

our organization.

✓ Our organization reserves the right to cept, rejects of modify bids without explanation.

✓ Partial bids may be considered if antageous to the project.

LIST OF FOOD ITEMES and LOCATIONS

Note:-

A: The above-mentioned food item to be plied must be as per the quality standard of Food and Drug Authority (EFDA)

B:- Quality standard certificates to be attached in the bid documents

C:- CPO must be submitted in a separate envelop

D:- the names for the project to be clearly written on the outer part of bid document.

E:-Bid/Price quotations/proposals to cover all expenses up to the destination/delivery place /location indicated which means the price will be including transportation
