Ethiopian Catholic Church-Social and Development Commission Adigrat Branch (ECC-SDCOAdB)-(MCF UNICEF Biqu Wetat Program) is seeking bids for supply and delivery of (1) Liquid Detergent production ingredients, ingredient mixers, kits & safety cloths... (2) Dry Soap production ingredients, mixing tanks, moulds, cutter & scale of 5kg... (3) Machine and materials for tailoring. Therefore, any eligible, qualified and interested relevant suppliers fulfilling the following minimum criteria should get bid document from ECC- SDCOAdB Adigrat main office Procurement Section from 09/01/2026 to16/01/2026 G.C showing relevant business license and up on payment of none re-fundable Birr 500.00 during working hours of the Office.

a) The interested eligible suppliers shall present renewed legible and relevant license for 2018 EC, registration certificate issued from relevant government office, VAT registration certificate and Tax Identification Number (TIN).

b) Bidders must provide evidence of their relevant experience by presenting the correctly completion evidence paper, which was previously issued by the organization for which they supplied a similar solar item.

c) The submission of samples is a mandatory requirement of the bidder. Failure to submit samples on time, or submission of non-conforming samples, typically results in the rejection of the entire bid.

d) The bid winner must sign the official contract agreement within two days after receipt of the award (Purchase Order).

e) The bidder should secure a bid bond only through CPO 5% from recognized bank for the cumulative bid value including VAT/TOT. Pledging cash or other assets as a bid bond not allowed.

f) All prices shall be quoted according to the given specifications only without any alterations to the specification, and no substitute materials shall be accepted

g) Each bidder will submit only one bid. A bidder that submits bid document more than once either himself/herself or as a partner in a joint venture will be automatically disqualified from the bid competition.

h) Any bid, submitted with incorrect information will be liable for rejection and the bidder may be prohibited from participation in the future other tendering processes.

i) An electronic bidding system /online bidding/ is not an option and will not be allowed for this particular procurement process.

j) Once the Bid submitted in sealed cover by the bidder, the office will not accept any addition /alterations/ deletions or correction of the Bid.

k) The price quoted shall be filled in Ethiopian Birr including taxes, transportation costs, loading unloading and other related costs.

1) The bidder shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of his/her bid. ECC- SDCOAdB will in no single case, be responsible or liable for those costs regardless of the conduct or outcome of the bidding process.

m) The bid winner should submit the materials in a maximum of 7 (seve) days from the date of purchase order, otherwise, ECC-SDCOAdB may unconditionally deposit the bid bond and take other preferable options.

n) Bids must be submitted on 16/01/2026 G.C between 9:30-10:00 Am (morning 3:30-4:00 local time) only to the prepared bid box in ECC-SDCOAdB main office in Adigrat. Late bids after the deadline will be rejected and returned unopened to the bidder.

o) The Bid will be officially closed on 16/01/2026 G.C at 10:01 Am (L.T 4:01) in the presence of interested bidders or their representatives who choose to attend and ECC-SDCOAdB concerned committee.

p) Bids will be opened on 16/01/2026 G.C at 10:30 Am (4:30 local time) in venue of ECC-SDCOADB Hall in the presence of interested bidders or their representatives and ECC-SDCOADB concerned committee.

q) ECC-SDCOAdB reserves the right to reject partially and/or completely this bid at any level of bid processing if another better alternative is available.
