National Competitive Bid Invitation (Re-bid)

1. Invitation
HORN Africa Construction, Trade and Industry Share Company invites interested and eligible bidders for the procurement of building construction and related works.
2. List of Projects
• Lot A (for BC 1 & 2 GC 2): 2B+G+15 Real Estate Building at Mekelle City, Adihaki Sub City
• Lot B (for > BC 2 & ≥ GC 3): 2B+G+15 Real Estate Building at Mekelle City, Hawelti Sub City
• Lot C (for BC 4 & ≥ GC 5): B+G+8 Multi-Purpose Building at Mekelle City, Hadnet Sub City
3. Participation:
Any bidder can participate in only one lot.
4. Bidding Process:
Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the National Open Competitive Bid.
5. Bid Document
The bid document shall be obtained from HORN AFRICA Head Office, Mekelle City/Tigray Region, Near Axum Hotel, Selam City Center, Fifth Floor Office number 505.
• Fee: Non-refundable Birr 2500.00 (Two Thousand Five Hundred Birr)
Office Hours: Monday to Friday 2:30-6:00 Local Time (morning), 8:00-11:30 Local Time (afternoon); Saturday 2:30-6:00 Local Time (morning).
• Bid documents can be collected by presenting the payment advice.
6. Bid Delivery
All bids must be delivered to the head office on or before Megabit 11, 2017 E.C. at 4:30 Local Time (morning) at HORN AFRICA Construction, Trade & Industry Share Company Head Office.
7. Bid Opening: Bid opening shall be held in the presence of bidders and/or their legal agents on Megabit 11, 2017 E.C. at 5:00 Local Time (morning).
8. Bid Security:
Bid proposals shall be accompanied by the bid security:
• Adihaki Site: Birr 500,000.00, Hawelti Site: Birr 350,000.00, and Hadnet Site: Birr 200,000.00 Bid security must be in the form of an unconditional bank guarantee or CPO. Other forms will not be accepted.
9. Rights Reserved:
HORN Africa Construction, Trade and Industry Share Company reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
