AMENDED INVITATION TO BID

1. The Office of Mehazut Saving and Credit Cooperative PLL has allocated sufficient budget to cost Consultancy Services of Engineering Design Review, Contract Administration and Construction Supervision for building construction of a 1st phase of B+G+2 out of the total Building site B+G+11 at 503.20 m2 located in Mekelle, Mizer sefer. Hence, it requires to hire a consultant who is qualified and eligible for the below to provide consultancy services of Engineering Design Review, Contract Administration and Construction Supervision, and as per the detailed Terms of References /TOR/:

2. The consultant will be hired for 6 months with possibility of extension.

3. Due to some new suggestions and amendment requests, the office amended the bid invitation Ref. No. 4/795/2016 dated 23/07/2016 E.C and now invites technical and financial proposals from Architecture & Engineering Consultants of Category-3 and above in BC grade and Category-4 and above in GC grade for the Engineering Design Review, Contract Administration and Construction Supervision consultancy services of first phase of B+G+11 building construction Complex Project at the mentioned location. More details of the services and the bid are explained in the attached Terms of Reference /TOR/.

4. The Consultant firm will be selected as per the Methodology and procedures described in the bid document.

5. Interested and eligible bidders can purchase a complete set of bidding documents starting 23/07/2016 to 05/08/2016 E.C from 2:30 to 11:30 local time during working hours at a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian birr 200.00 from Mehazut Saving and Credit head officerekselling second floor.

6. submission of solicitation documents, bidders shall submit their bid document

accompanied by registration certificate for Category-3 and above in BC grade and Category-4 and above in GC grade provided from government body (construction registration and licensing core process), renewed business license for 2016 E.C, Vat registration Certificate, Taxpayers Identification Number/TIN, Vat declaration of December 2023 OR January 2016 E.C with respect to the Local Tax laws.

7. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of birr 5,000.00 in CPO or unconditional bank guarantee.

8. Wax sealed one original & two copies of technical and financial proposals separately and marked with the official stamp of the consulting firm shall be delivered to the office on or before 05/08/2016 E.C at 9:00 PM local time and the bid will be closed on this date at 9:00 P.M local time.

9. The Bid will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their representatives on the same date at 9:30 P.M. Local time at the office of Mehazut Saving and Credit Cooperative PLL, Mekelle, second floor.
