Project Title: - Caritas Germany & ICSP protection
Subject: - Purchase of Furniture materials
Daughters of Charity (Doc) engaged in the provision of new houses, repair of old ones and occasional financial help with householders threatened with eviction. DoC provide houses for poor women-headed households and people with various disabilities and chronic health problems in Mekelle City, Maichew town and in Irob District. DoC provides comprehensive services that promote the integral development of human beings. Currently, the organization is engaged in social and development programmes as well as emergency interventions.
DoC is dedicated to safe Procurement and programming. Thus, DoC has a zero-tolerance policy on misconduct with the aims and objectives of the organization, including theft, fraud, corruption or abuse of power/authority, sexual harassment (SH), sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA), and discrimination. DoC also adheres to strict safeguarding principles and core humanitarian standards. Therefore, all selected suppliers will be expected to adhere to these standards and principles.
Now, DoC desires to purchase Furniture through open bid.
Our selection criteria is Lowest Price without compromise quality of the materials. Howe ever due diligence is also going to be conducted after the opening of the bid.
1. Bid document can be taken by eligible bidders upon nonpayment from: Daughters of Charity coordinating office, 1 floor, sub city of Adi haki behind Adihaki eye clinic.
2. Bidders must obtain renewed valid trading license for furniture items
3. Bidders must have TIN number, VAT registration certificate or TOT.
4. The bidders cannot alter, amend or withdraw offers after tender is opened
5. Bidders should submit offers price as per the attached request for quotation:
6. Bidders should submit Bid security of 30,000 birr (Thirty thousand)
7. Bidder should aware that before conducting an agreement due diligence is going to be conducted on the overall capability of a supplier.
8. The supplier should deliver the material within 5 Days after notification of award and signing of agreement
9. The supplier should deliver the materials to DoC coordinating office with their Owen transport
10. Bids must be delivered their financial bid documents to the address Daughters of Charity coordinating office sub city of Adihaki behind Adihaki eye clinic first floor in the prepared tender box, from 13/04/2024 up to 16/04/2024.
11. Bid clothing date is 16/05/2024 at 8:30 local time
12. Late bids will be rejected And Bids will be opened physically on 16/05/2024 at 9:00 local time Preferably in the presence of the bidders or representatives who choose to attend in person at the address above.
13. The Daughters of charity coordinating office reserves the right to reject partially or fully cancel or reject any or all of the bids.
