INVITATION TO BID: 

Full Construction of sex segregated Latrine and water supply system maintenance/Rehabilitation and maintenance of Blocks (Labor and Materials) for three Projects Sites in Eastern and southern zone of Tigray region "

Bid No:0001/2025,

1. CARE Ethiopia now invites all eligible contractors of category GC/BC/WC Grade 5 and above who are financially and technically capable to furnish the necessary full construction service (supply of both labor and supply of industrial and local construction and consumable materials) for the construction works of the following projects:

i. Full Contract (Skilled Labor + Materials) for Construction of Sex segregated Latrine and Water Supply System Maintenance/Rehabilitation at Kelat Compressive Health Post and Fasti Health Centers, Gulemekeda Woreda.

ii. Full Contract (Skilled Labor Materials) for Latrine and Water Supply System Maintenance/Rehabilitation at Arae and Endamosa Health Center, Irob Woreda.

iii. Full Contract (Skilled Labor + Materials) for Construction of Sex segregated Latrine and Water Supply System Maintenance/Rehabilitation at Chekone Compressive Health Post and Rehabilitation of Water Supply System Mechare Helth Center, Raya Azebo Woreda and Maintenance of Blocks Bisober Helath Post and Chercher Health Center, Raya Chercher Woreda.

2. Interested and eligible bidders should have:

• Valid and renewed business license indicating the ream of business in which the Bidder is engaged in 2017 E.C

• Taxpayer registration certificate (TIN certificate

• VAT registration certificate issued by the tax authority,

• Valid Tax clearance certificate for the year 2016 E.C which is issued by the tax authority (Inland Revenue Authority),

• Certificate of competency from respective authorities,

3. A complete set of bidding documents shall be obtained from Care Ethiopia Tigray Field office Adihawsi near WFP with charge of ETB 500.00 for each bid or from Afro tender (https://careethiopia.afrotender.com).

4. The bid document shall be accompanied by bid security 2% of the bid amount in an acceptable form of unconditional bank guarantee/CPO and must be addressed to CARE Ethiopia Office with separate envelopes.

5. The bid security shall be valid for 90 days.

6. Sealed bid must be submitted to CARE Ethiopia office on or before July 22, 2025, at 5:00 PM (11:00 local time) in the afternoon.

7. Bidders must submit the proposals (technical and financial) separately each in sealed envelopes with the following information on the inner envelope ("One" Original Technical proposal", "One" Copy of Technical proposal, "One" Original Financial Proposal, "One" Copy of Financial Proposal and name and full address of the bidder)

8. The employer (CARE Ethiopia) reserves the right to reject any or all bids.

9. One bidder can compete for only one woreda from the given intervention woredas.
