is a US based non- Governmental International Organization working on the provision of vital support to people affected by war , displacement or natural factors such as drought. In line with the above mission and objectives, we undertake sanitation , water supply and health and community service program for the refugees as well as host community in Shimelba,Mai Aini , Adi –Harush and Hitasts refugee camp. 

1 The International Rescue Committee Shire Field office invites all eligible and qualified bidders to supply Local construction materials (Sand , Stone and Gravel)  as stated in the RFQ. Interested bidders may participate in this bid paying attention to submit the minimum required document like Renewed Trade license (if possible year 2007/8 E.C), TIN Registration certificate and VAT registration certificate together with the bid proposal.  

2 Interested and suitable qualified bidders or their legal representative can collect bid document from International Rescue Committee Shire Field Office Finance department against payment of a non- refundable fee of Birr 50.00 /fifty birr/ starting from Oct 21, 2015 only during office hours Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 12:00 am and 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm by presenting the required document like Renewed Trade license (if possible year 2007/2008 E.C) , VAT registration certificate , and TIN certificate    

3 Two copy of bid proposal marked ‘ Original Bid ’ and ‘ Copy of Bid ‘ separate sealed envelopes should be submitted to office of the International Rescue Committee by not later than 10:00 am Wednesday November 4^th 2015. All bids must be deposited in the tender box prepared for this purpose at International Rescue Committee Shire Office

4 Bid proposal Shall be accompanied by a bid security or bid bond amounting birr 1% of the total bid amount in the form of unconditional bank guarantee or cash payment order (C.P.O) Bid security in any other is not accepted .   

5 Bids will be opened in the presence of Bidders and/ or their representative who choose to attend at 10:30 am Wednesday November, 4^th 2015 at International Rescue Committee shire field office‘s conference room located at Zeray building near the IOM office in Shire town.

6 The International Rescue Committee reserves the right to reject the whole or part of any or all bids.
