1. Introduction

The Chura Abugida Kene-Tibebawi Mahiber (CAKTM), a non-governmental organization registered under the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) Agency for Civil Society Organizations with registration number 2808, is seeking a qualified and reputable Chartered Accountant firm to conduct an independent audit of its financial statements for the year ended Date of Financial Year End January 01-01-2024 December 31, 2024.

CAKTM is committed to transparency and accountability in all its financial dealings. An independent audit is crucial for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial records and maintaining the trust of our donors, partners, and beneficiaries.

2. Scope of Audit

The scope of the audit will encompass the following:

• Examination of all financial records: Including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and supporting documentation.

• Verification of the accuracy and completeness of financial transactions.

• Assessment of internal controls and risk management procedures.

• Compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

• Preparation of an independent auditor's report outlining the findings of the audit and expressing an opinion on the fairness and accuracy of the financial statements.

3. Qualifications of Auditing Firm

Interested auditing firms must meet the following criteria:

• Professional Qualifications: Be a registered and licensed Chartered Accountant firm in Ethiopia.

• Experience: Possess significant experience in auditing non-governmental organizations (NGOS) and familiarity with the specific accounting and reporting requirements for NGOs in Ethiopia.

• Expertise: Demonstrate expertise in relevant accounting standards, including International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) or Ethiopian Accounting

• Standards: Independence: Maintain independence from CAKTM and any other parties that may have a vested interest in the audit outcome.

• Resources: Have the necessary resources and personnel to conduct the audit efficiently and effectively.
