1 Bidders who have renewed Trade license for the fiscal year , VAT registration , tax clearance and tax payer Identification , Certification from : Food Medicine and Health Care Administration and Control authority of Ethiopia (FMHACA) Certificates from Ministry of financial and Economic Development (MOFED) specifying that they have registration is suppliers’ list/ and other supportive documents
2 Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procedures contained in the public procurement proclamation of the government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and is open to all bidders from eligible countries. The procurement document can be purchased from the University for a non-refundable fee of birr 200(two hundred Birr) or equivalent amount in USD.

4 Bid shall be Valid for a period of 120 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a security
5 MedicalEquipment and consumables--------------------100,000 birr (one hundred thousand birr only ) or equivalent amount in USDÂ Â Â CPO or bank counter guarantee shall be delivered to the aforementioned address
6 Closing time for submission of bid will be at of 930 AM of the 35th day to be counted from the date of announcement of the tender and its opening time will be on the same day, at 10:00 AM . If the 35th day is not working day , the bid will be closed and opened at the aforementioned time of the next working days
7 Technical & Financial documents for the bid should be submitted separately
8 Mekelle University has the right to cancel the bid totally or partially ,if it gets a better way of obtain the required items.Â
