Invitation to Bid

1. Abba Selama Kassate Berhan Theology College has allocated a sufficient budget towards the cost for the construction of one floor of commercial buildings in the main campus.

2. Abba Selama Kassate Berhan Theology College invites technical and financial proposals from Contractor's BC category-V or GC category-VI and above for the construction one floor of the B+G+10 Commercial buildings in Mekelle.

3. The firm (contractor) will be selected as per the Evaluation criteria described in the bid document (i.e. technical and financial).

4. A complete set of bidding documents may be purchased by interested and eligible bidders from the Abba Selama Kassate Berhan Theology College -Mekelle upon presentation of:

• Registration certificate from the Bureau of Construction, Road and Transport of the regional Government of Tigrai for 2016 E.C. or any other legal body,

• Renewed trade license for 2016 E.C.,

• VAT registration certificate,

• Last month VAT declaration,

• Tax payers identification Number/TIN,

• Suppliers and trade registration, original and copy, after submission of a written

application and a non-refundable fee of 300 (Three hundred) birr.

5. A bid must be accompanied by a bid security of an amount birr 50,000 (Fifty Thousand birr) in CPO or Unconditional Bank Guarantee.

6. Sealed one original and one copy of technical and financial proposal marked with the official stamp and sign of the contractor firm shall be delivered to the college after 8 days bid announcement.

7. Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representative on the same date of submission at 4:00 local time.

8. The college reserves the right to reject or accept any or all bids.
