1. The Government of Ethiopia /MOA/ has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Food System Resilient Program /FSRP/ and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the procurement of Electromechanical equipment for two deep wells in Raya Chercher woreda

3. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank's "Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers" Fifth Edition September 2023 and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Tigray Bureau of Water and Energy project Procurement and Contract Management Specialist gedamugh@yahoo.com and inspect the bidding document during office hours 08:30 AM to 12:30 AM in the morning and 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM local time in the afternoon at the address given below.

5. The bidding document in the English language may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of ETB 600.00 (six hundred birr). The method of payment will be direct deposit or bank transfer the Bank account number: is 1000333780128 Commercial Bank of Ethiopia at BOWAE. The document will be sent by person or on hand. No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 27/08/2024 at 3:00 AM and opened on the same day, 27/08/2024 at 3:15 AM. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders' designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below.

7. All Bids must be accompanied by a bid security of ETB 100,000.00 (one hundred thousand birr) in the form of an Unconditional Bank guarantee or CPO to Tigray Bureau of Water and Energy and shall remain valid for 60+28 (88) days.

8. Bidders should submit a copy of their renewed Trade licenses, VAT certificate, Tax clearance, Taxpayer identification number (TIN).

9. Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder's beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
