1. The government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the CWA-II & intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Procurement of office Equipments for PMU, Coordination Office, Woredas, and Small Towns.
2. The Tigray Water and Energy Bureau now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the Procurement of office Equipment for the PMU Coordination office, Woreda, and Small Towns (#32 Laptop Computers, #29 printers) no margin of preference applies.
3. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank's "Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers-World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers", dated July 2016, Revised November 2017 and August 2018. ("Procurement Regulations"), and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.
4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Tigray Water Resource Bureau, Room No 111 New Building, Att. Mr. Samson Berhane, sbgirmity@gmail.com and inspect the bidding document during office hours2:00- 6:30 and 8:00-11:30 Local Time.
5. The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 400.00 ETB (Four Hundred Ethiopian Birr). The method of payment will be minimal cash. The document will be collected in person. Bid Documents will start to sell from June 19, 2024 (OWNP Procurement Section).
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 19, July 2024 at 3:00 Local Time. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders' designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the address below 19, July 2024 at 3:15 Local Time.
7. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of 70,000.00 ETB (Seventy Thousand Ethiopian Birr).
