SUPPLY, IMPLEMENTATION, INTEGRATION, TESTING AND COMMISSIONING & SUPPORT OF A CORE BANKING SYSTEM

Semien Microfinance Institution Share Company (SMFI) is a licensed commercial microfinance institution established on August 3, 2023, as per the requirements of the National Bank of Ethiopia's proclamation and directives, with its head office located in Mekelle. Tigray, Ethiopia. The institution is licensed to provide financial services through Ethiopia. The MFI envisions realizing modern, effective, sustainable and competitive microfinance services with a purpose of supporting the low-income level society, especially the youth, by creating alternative source of finance and enabling them to transform to middle income level. The institution is now preparing to commence its operation supported by efficient and effective technology to achieve customer satisfaction by offering inclusive financial services. It has planned to introduce digital financial services as one of the core pillar competitive strategies. The MFI is therefore inviting local interested bidders and solution vendors to express their interest in the supply, implementation, integration, testing & commissioning and support of a core banking system. Expressions of Interest (EOI) received from interested vendors will be evaluated and ranked. Shortlisted bidders and solution providers will then be invited to participate in SMFI's Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
