Special Educational Needs in Ethiopia, in short SENEthiopia is a national CSO working collaboratively with state and non-state actors to promote and facilitate disability-inclusion in Ethiopia through Inclusive Education, Inclusive Health and Disability and Development Initiatives.
Under the Project Title: Improved capacity of Schools to effectively deliver the primary and lower Secandary Education Curriculum, with a particularlar focus on disadvantaged woredas (FCDO) SENEthiopia now invites interested bidders to submit "Bid" for the Supply of Appropriate Learning Materials. Including (Braille paper, Braille, slate and Styles, Talking calculator, Abacus, sign language Book, Sign language chart, Intelligence book with charge, Intelligence book with battery, Building Block Letter Tigrigna and Building Block Letter English) for children with Disabilities.
A complete set of bidding documents is available for issuance to eligible bidders at SENEthiopia Mekelle, Adi-Haky Sub-City, Kebelle Hdase_
Bids shall be valid for a period of 10 Consecutive days after submission of bids and must be accompanied by the following documents:
• Renewed Educational Materials business licence;
• VAT registration Certificate;
• VAT declaration;
• Tax payer Identification Number (TIN);
• Supplierer/s Certificate;
• Bid Security in the name of SENEthiopia 2% of Bid amount in the form of CPO.
Bids must be delivered in hard copy to SENEthiopia - Mekelle, Adi-Haky Sub-City, Kebelle Hdase on or before 09 April, 2026 9:00 AM. Electronic bidding is not permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
Bids will be publicly opened at the above address, on 09 April, 2026 9:30 AM in the presence of the Bidders who wish to attend.
NB!! Bidders Must Bring Sample/s of the goods at the time, on the date and at the place of bid opening.
SENEthiopia reserves the right to accept or reject any bids, and to cancel the procurement process and reject all bids at any time prior to award of Contract, without obligation to inform the affected Bidder/s of the ground for SENEthiopia action.
