1 The bidders Should have renewed Trade license for the 2009 /2010 E.C, renewed Federal or Regional registration of MoWUD for 2009/2010 E.C,VAT registration and with Federal or regional registration of Suppliers
2 Eligible bidders can obtain the bid procurement document from the procurement and property Administration Directories Office No. C21-201 (Tel 251-0344414784) located in Endayesus camping during office hours (Monday to Friday) up on a non-refundable fee of birr 500 birr for each document of construction an 200 birr for each document of Consultants
3 Bid shall be Valid for a period of 120 days after bid opening and must be accompanied by a security Specified in the above table which shall be delivered to Mekelle University
4 For Contractors : Bidders shall submit one original and two copy Technical document in such a way that the original and each copy of the technical document after being sealed separately shall be placed in a single wax sealed envelop marked as Technical document . The Financial Offer Document shall also be produced in the same manner as the technical document and shall be placed in a single wax sealed envelop marked as Financial Offer documents Finally both document shall be placed in one outer mother envelop ,every envelope should be wax-sealed , signed and stamped properly Â
5 Closing time for submission of bid for consultancy Service will be at the end of 3:30 local time of the 21st day after bid announcement to be counted from the date announcement of the tender and is opening time will be on the same day, at 4:00local time . If the 21st day is not working day , the bid will be closed and opened at the aforementioned time of the next working days
6 Closing time for submission of bid for Contractors will be at the end of 3:30 local time of the 36th day after bid announcement to be counted from the date announcement of the tender and is opening time will be on the same day, at 4:00 local time. If the 36th day is not working day,the bid will be closed and opened at the aforementioned time of the next working days
7 The university will post all detail and necessary information registration regarding this tender call on its website , WWW.MU.EDU.ET Furthermore , the University will post all necessary change such as time extension etc. if there is and if it is necessary , on its website , therefore , all interested applicants are requested to refer the university website throughout the period of the bid process
8 Mekelle University reserves the right to accept or reject any or all of the bid
