VIDEO DOCUMENTARY AND PRODUCTION SERVICES

The Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church Development and Inter-Church Aid Commission (EOTC-DICAC), the development wing of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church, has been serving communities across the country for over five decades, engaging in both development and humanitarian interventions in all parts of Ethiopia.

EOTC DICAC Invites qualified and experienced video production companies to submit bids for the production of a professional video documentary. The assignment aims to produce high quality video content that effectively documents project activities, captures impact stories, and supports advocacy. awareness rising, and communication objectives.

This documentary highlights the importance of church forests as vital biodiversity hotspots in Ethiopia. Filmed across the Amhara, Tigray, Oromia, and South Ethiopia regions. it showcases how church and monastery forests protect indigenous and endangered tree species while serving as important ecological sanctuaries.

The flim also presents the Sustainable Church Forest Management Regional Program, which aims to strengthen church and monastery forest conservation, promote sustainable landscape management through green corridors, and improve the livelihoods of communities living around these forests. Interested applicants have to full fill all the requirements listed below.

• Proven experience in integrating arts, media, and storytelling into community development, environmental protection, or social advocacy programs are assets.
• Proven experience in documentary and professional video production and also Availability of a qualified and experienced production team
• Demonstrated Experience working with International and National Development Partners (NGO/CSO's) who can submit a sample video documentary
• Willing to travel in different part of the country
• Strong technical capacity on filming, sound, lighting, and editing
• Creative Documentary storytelling and script development skills including full post-production capability
• Ethical, Participatory. and Community-Centered Production Methodology: Applicants must outline aclear ethical framework and participatory methodology for engaging communities, faith-based institutions, and vulnerable groups in the film making process.
• The bidder must submit a bid security in form of a certified payment order(CPO) equivalent to two percent (2%) of the total bid price. The CPO shall serve as a guarantee of the bidder's commitment and will protect the procuring entry in the event of the bid withdrawal or failure of sign the contract if awarded
• Applicant must have renewed license, registration certificate, VAT. Tin and tax clearance from the relevance authority.

Eligible bidders are invited to submit their technical and financial proposals enclosed in separate sealed, signed and stamped envelope in accordance with the bid requirements specified in the bidding document.
