Invitation to Bid

Kallamino Special High School (KSHS), one of the flagship programs of the Tigray Development Association (TDA), invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified contractors for the renovation and maintenance of dormitory blocks at its campus in Mekelle, Tigray. Therefore, bidders are invited to submit their sealed bids as per the following requirements and eligible

1. Eligible bidders must be contractors with a GC/BC-5 license or higher, who have settled their 2017 E.C. tax obligations and hold valid construction and trade licenses, construction competency certificates, VAT registration certificates, as well as the most recent valid VAT declaration.

2. The bid must be accompanied by a bid security of ETB 100,000.00 (One Hundred Thousand Birr) in the form of CPO only, issued by a recognized bank authorized by the National Bank of Ethiopia, and valid for forty (40) calendar days from the date of bid opening.

3. Bidders must be capable of completing the renovation and maintenance works within 40 (Forty) consecutive calendar days from the date of site handover.

4. Tender documents will be available for purchase at TDA Head Office, Office No. 410, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 100.00 (One Hundred Birr), from August 22, 2025 to August 29,2025.

5. Completed bid documents shall proposal, with the CPO placed

single large envelope, duly signe submitted in one original and one copy of the financial separate sealed envelope. All documents must be enclosed in a and stamped, and submitted into the tender box prepared for this purpose at TDA Head Office, no later than August 29, 2025, at 3:30 PM (9:30 local time).

6. The bid will be opened on August 29, 2025, at 4:00 PM (10:00 local time) in the presence of bidders or their legal representatives at the TDA Assembly Hall.

7. KSHS reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without assigning any reason.
