1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in UNDB online under the Ref. No. AFDB01-01/14 dated on 2 January 2014 and the Ethiopian Herald dated on 5 January 2014.
2. The Government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) has received financing from the African Development Fund (ADF) towards the cost of Pastoral Drought Resilience and Sustainable Livelihoods Project- I (PDRSLP-I) and it intends to apply part of the Proceeds of this loan to eligible payments under the Contract for the Construction of Birkas.
3. The Bureau of Livestock, Agriculture & Natural Resources Development (BOLAND) invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders (contractors) having BC/WC 5 or GC 6 Category and above Trade License for Construction of Birka as described in the table below.

4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 7:30 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. local time of official working days
5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 300.00 (Three Hundred ).
6. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 21,04, 2020 at 10:00 AM (04:00 AM local time)
7. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below on 20./05/, 2020 at 10:30 AM (04:30 AM local time). All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security as specified above.
8. Bidders' Documentary requirements include Renewed trade license, Tax clearance certificate, and VAT registration.
