Name of Project: Food Security and Agriculture Rehabilitation Measures in Conflict Affected Regions of Ethiopia (FARM) Project

1. The Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Institute (ATI) has received funds from the Agence Française de Développement (The French Development Agency) and the European Union towards the cost of the FARM Project. It is intended that part of the proceeds of these funds will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for the procurement of Goods.
2. The Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Institute (ATI) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Construction of an Apiary Site Fence Work (4 Sites) & Roof work (1 site) for Kite- Awlaelo (Negash and Mesanu) & Laelai-Koraro woredas (Adekemalef & Meshod kebeles) and Kiliteawlalo woreda (Negash Kebele), Tigray Region.
3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office address indicated below, during office hours from 8:30 AM to 05:30 PM.
4. A complete set of bidding document in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee Ethiopian Birr 200 (ETB Two Hundred only). The method of payment will be in Cash. The cash sum must be deposited at the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia in the name of the "Agricultural Transformation Institute" in the Account No: 1000659472698 and the application letter and cash deposit receipt must be submitted to the Procurement/Finance department in order to participate in this bid.
5. The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the Agence Française de Développement's Bidding Documents for Procurement of works.
6. Bids must be delivered to the office indicated below on or before 2:00 PM on July 17, 2026 and bids must be accompanied by a bid bond of 80,000.00 ETB (Eighty thousand birr only) for the Construction of an Apiary Site Fence Work (4 Sites) & Roof work (1 site) for Kite-Awlaelo (Negash and Mesanu) & Laelai-Koraro woredas (Adekemalef & Meshod kebeles) and Kiliteawlalo woreda (Negash Kebele), Tigray Region in the form of a Cashier's Payment Order (CPO) or a Bank Guarantee.
7. Bids will be opened in public and in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at 2:30 pm July 17, 2026, at the below-mentioned office address.
8. Qualification criteria are as follows: Bidder should submit a copy of renewed Trade License, VAT Registration certificate, tax clearance certificate, Registration on FPPPA online eGP supplier list and TIN certificate with their technical proposal. Additional details are provided in the Bidding Documents.
9. Bidders who have purchased the bidding document will be invited to attend a pre-bid meeting, which is scheduled to take place on the date as specified in the Bid document.
10. The Purchaser reserves the right to annul the bidding process and reject all bids at any time prior to contract signing, without thereby incurring any liability to Bidders.
