Amended Open Tender Notice for second
The Tigray Women's Association, for a project funded by UN Women, seeks to invite eligible and legal bidders for the procurement of the following items through an open tender:
1. Food items
2. Haygine and cleaning item
3. Stationary
4. Personal items related items
Bidding Requirements for Applicants
1. Must provide a valid trade license renewed for the 2018 E.C. fiscal year& Tax Identification Number (TIN), Taxpayer Identification Number certificate VAT & Supplier Registration supplier list, Must attach a tax clearance certificate issued within the last three (3) months
2. Bid Bond (CPO): Bidders must provide a CPO (Certified Payment Order) or a bank-guaranteed bond amounting to 2% of their total bid price and Tender Document Fee: The bidding document can be obtained in person from the WAT Head Office upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 100.00 ETB.
3. Reporting Period: The winning bidder must report within three (3) working days from the date the award is announced and Transportation: The winner is responsible for transporting and delivering the awarded goods to the WAT store at their own expense.
4. Compliance with Specifications: Bidders are not permitted to fill out the bid outside of the office's provided specifications & Document Integrity: Any erasures, alterations, or "white-outs" in the bid document will result in immediate disqualification and
5. Tender Timeline: The bid will be active from 17/07/2018 E.C. to 24/07/2018 E.C. The bid 24/07/2018 E.C. at 4:00 AM (local time) and will be opened on the same day at 4:30 AM (local time) at the Head Office in Kebele 15, in the presence of bidders or their legal representatives.
6. Quantity Adjustment: The office reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity of the bid by 20%, Weekend Exception: If the opening date falls on a Saturday or Sunday, the opening will take place on the next business day and Right to Cancel: The office reserves the right cancel the bid in whole or in part
if a better alternative is found.
