1.Bidding will be conducted through the international Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures, and is open to all bidders.

2. The bid is prepared in two options. These options are supply of VFR Type AC system as option-I and supply of split type AC system Fas option-II. Bidding can participate in both options or in either of them.

3. All local and international firms organized and licensed that qualify to bid are invited to participate in the invitation to bids and if the bidders are local firms thy have to fulfill the following requirements.

a. Valid and renewed trade license for the year

B. VAT registered

C. Fulfilled their obligation to pay taxes according to Ethiopian Law

4. Interested bidders can get a complete set bidding documents from Addis Ababa Branch office and/or Mekelle office

5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from inspect the bidding documents at the address below from 8:30 AM up to 4:30 PM from Monday to Friday

6. All wax sealed bid proposals must be delivered to MIE office (Supply) Department Corporate before 31-10-2018 02:00 PM Bids presented by any bidder after the closing date shall not be accepted. Technical and Financial proposal shall be sealed in separate envelope.

7. Financial document should be in USD.

8. Bids received in time and fulfilling the other formalities shall be opened in the presence of interested bidders or their legal representatives on31-10-2018 at02:30 PM in MIE Mekelle head office, training hall and financial offer will not be opened in the specified time. It will be opened after technical evaluation is finalized .

9. MIE PLC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all of the bids.
