Tigray National State Water Resource Bureau now invites sealed bids from qualified eligible bidders for the Procurement of Raya Azebo Tabia Berukalena Water Supply Project located at Southern Zone of Tigray Wereda Raya Azebo. We therefore the bureau invites eligible bidders who full fills the under listed requirements.

Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedure as specified in the Regional procurement Guidelines. The Government of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from SDG for the procurement of civil work construction, supply & installation of electro mechanical equipment's & pipes and fitting for Berukalena Water Supply Project.

lot 1: Construction, supply & installation of electro mechanical equipments, pipes and fittings for berukalena water supply project quantity : 01 bid security: 120,000.00 Qualification requirements include.

1 . ITB 3.2(a) the bidder must demonstrate compliance with the criteria in ITB Sub-Clause 3.1 , from

mandated public body.

2. ITB3.2(b)Renewed or valid trade license on WWCC for the fiscal year 201 0, registration certificate from Ministry ofWater, Irrigation and Electricity or from Tigray water resource bureau for the fiscal year, tax clearance certificate,VAT-declaration for the month of June 201 0 (Sene, 201 0),VAT registration certificate,Tin Certificate ,suppliers registration certificate and any relevant professional practice certificates.

3. ITB 18.1 The written confirmation of authorization to sign on behalf' of the bidder shall initialed and approved by authentication office.

4. Bidders should submit one original & 2(Two) Copies of Financial documents and 1 (one) Original Legal documents(licenses) and 2(Two) Copies of Legal documents (licenses) also must be provided in separate envelopes.

5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased from Tigray water resource bureau upon payment of a non-refundable fee of 200 on working days (Monday-Friday). Method of payment could be in cash.

6. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before September 24,2011 up to 3:00 Local time. Electronic bidding shall not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected.

7. Bids will be opened physically on the same date at 3:30 Local time in the presence of the bidders'

representatives who wish to attend in person at the address below.

8. All bids shall be accompanied by UN conditional bid Security in the form of (CPO) birr 120,000. The bid shall be valid for a period of 60 (sixty days) after bid opening plus 28 days beyond the bid validity period. and submitted together with the original legal requirements.

9. The bureau reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid.

10. Bidding documents could be Purchased during office hours 2:00-6:30 and 8:00-11 :30 local time starting from the news paper published date at the address given below.
