for the Supply of Dignity Kits for Women in Vulnerable
Conditions in the Tigray Region

Salesians of Don Bosco Ethiopia, with the financial support of AICS – the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation – is pleased to invite qualified suppliers to submit quotations for the supply of Dignity Kits for Women in Vulnerable Conditions under the project RELIEF/AID13057, activity 2.5.

Eligible and competent suppliers can participate in this local open tender for the supply and delivery of Dignity Kits: To be distributed to 400 women in three rounds. All items should include usage instruction in Tigrinya and/or Amharic, be packed according to the standards specified in the Tender document, with Donor and Implementing Partner logos, and all items should be transported by the supplier to Salesian of Don Bosco Adwa Office, including loading and unloading.

Interested eligible bidders who fulfil the below listed criteria;

i. Renewed trade license for the supply of hygiene/dignity kits 2018E.C (2025/26 G, C).

ii. VAT registration and valid tax clearance certificate.

iii. No current litigation or disputes.

• The Bidder shall provide a bid bond in the form of a Certified Payment Order (CPO) equivalent to 2% of the total bid price, including VAT. Cash payments or pledging of other assets as bid security will not be accepted.
• Bidders shall submit one (1) original Technical Proposal and one (1) original Financial Proposal for the supplied kits/items, together with one (1) copy of each. The Technical and Financial Proposals must be placed in separate envelopes, clearly marked “Original” and “Copy.” All inner envelopes shall then be placed in a single outer envelope, which must be properly sealed and stamped.
• Only bidders capable of delivering the full quantities within five (5) consecutive days from the signing of the contract shall be eligible to participate.

The tender document accompanied by the relevant supporting document must be submitted to Salesian of Don Bosco Adwa Office before July 06, 2026 until 5:00 PM. The bid will be closed on July 06, 2026 at 5:00 PM.
