Tigray National State Water Resource Bureau now invites sealed bids from qualified eligible bidders for the Procurement of community ponds located at Central Zone Tanqua Abergel woreda. We therefore the bureau invites eligible bidders who full fills the under listed requirements. Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedure as specified in the Regional procurement Guidelines. The Government of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from IFAD for the procurement of ponds at Tanqua Abergel woreda,

Qualification requirements include

ITB 3.2 (a) The mandated public body for the registration of suppliers is: Ministry ofwater; Irrigation and Electricityor from Regional Water resource bureau

ITB 3.2 (b) Renewed trading license on WWCC for the fiscal year 2010-2011E.C . registration certificate from ministry ofwater resource and energy for the fiscal year tax clearance certificate declaration for the month of August 2010 E.C and VAT registration Tin number and Any relevant professional practice certificates

ITB 18.1 The written confirmation ofAuthorization to sign on behalf of the Bidder shall consist of: Fully Initial and sealed bidding documents Bidders should have also required to submit one original ''Technical” and “Financial” documents in a separate envelopes and each 2(two) copies of ''Technical'' and "Financial'" documents also should have to be provided in separate envelopes, too.

1 . A complete set ofBidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon submission of a written application to the address below and payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 200. Method of payment will be in cash or check against receipt from Monday- Friday on working hours.

2. Bids must be delivered to the address below from 15/2/2011 E.C up to 14/03/2011 .E.C at 3:00 local time Electronic bidding shall not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. And Bids will be opened physically on the same date at 3:30 local time in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend in person at the address below All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security (CPO) or unconditional bank guarantee of 160,000.00 in Ethiopian Birr

3. The bid security shall be valid for a period of 60 (sixty days) days after bid opening.

4. ITB 31 The bureau reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid
