1 Biding will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding procedure specified in the African Development Bank rules and procedures for procurement of Goods and works.

2 Interested eligible , bidders may obtain further information from Tigray Water Resource Bureau, Capital procurement Section Room no.106 and inspect the bidding document during office hours from Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 12:30 pm Moring and 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm afternoon at the address given below paragraph 10

3 Qualification and Evaluation requirements include : technical , financial , personnel, Equipment and legal requirements. The interested contactor has to provide information on available construction tools such as Dump truck , Hand compactor , Mixer and Vehicle : experience in similar project available skilled man power and other relevant information as specified in the bidding document. Additional requirements may be provided in the Bidding Document.

4 A complete set of bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below starting from 26 June 2018 and upon no payment of a nonrefundable fee of ETB 500 Birr or in a convertible currency. The method of payment will be cash . The document will be sent by the representative of bidders . Local bidders are required to attach , with their application , a copy of their renewed trade licenses, VAT declaration for the month of April 2018 , TIN No, renewed business license valid for 2018 and valid and renewed appropriate water registration certified from Ministry of water , Irrigation and Electricity or Regional Water resource bureau

5 Bid must be delivered to the address below on or before August 6, 2018@ 9:00 A.M Electronic bidding will not be permitted . Late bids will be rejected ,Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders designated representative and any one who choose to attend at the address below on August 6, 2018@9:30 A.M.

6 Bids shall be valid for a period of Hundred Twenty (120) days after Bid opening and must be accompanied by bi security of ETB 2,300,000.00( Two Million Three Hundred Thousand Ethiopia Birr only)on in the form of unconditional Bank Guarantee and they shall be delivered to the address sated on the bid data sheet on or before bid closing date at/ before August 6, 2018@9:00 A.M

7 The Bureau reserves the right to accept or reject all or parts of the Bid.
