1 The Government of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the One wash National program toward the cost of the water supply and sanitation project, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract NCB/TIG /OWNP/WF/12/2017 for procurement of drilling, supply and installation of hand pumps for 38-shallow wells as indicated in the table below. Lot 1: G/Afeshum(2SW), S/tsadea emba(SW), Hawzen (1SW), D/tembiyen(1SW) and Enderta(1SW) No: shallow wells :7 Total site: 7 Bid security:13,000.00

Lot 3: Tselemti(2SW), Welkayit(2SW), Tsegede(2SW) and T/Adiyabo(2SW) No. shallow wells: 8 No. of site: 8 Bid security: 15,000.00

Lot 4: A/Tsembla(2SW), M/Ezana(1SW),L/maychew(2SW), and Adwa(2SW) No.of shallow wells: 7 No of site: 7 Bid security:13,000.00

Lot 5: Ahferom(2SW), N/Adiyet(2SW), M/leke(2SW), and W/Leke(2SW) No of shallow wells: 8 No of site: 8 Bid security: 15,000.00

Lot 6: R/Azebo(2SW), R/Alamata(2SW), Ofla(2SW), and E/Alaje(2SW) No of shallow wells: 8 No of site: 8 Bid security : 15,000.00

2 The Tigray Bureau of Water Resource now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders having Vat Certificate ,Vat declaration for the month of Yekatiti 2010 E.C , TIN Number, renewed business license and renewed water works Registration certificate from Ministry of Water Resource Valid for 2010 E.C Qualification and requirement including machinery , personnel , Technical , financial legal and other additional requirement may be provided in the bid document and the procurement is not subjected to marginal preference

3 Bidding will be conducted through the Inrernational Completive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines ; procurement of Good works and Non-consulting Services IBRD Loans and IDA Credit and Grants by world bank Borrowers January 2011.(procurement Guidelines) and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the procurement Guidelines. In addition , Please refer to paragraphs 1.6 and 1.7 setting forth the world Bank’s policy on conflict of interest.

4 Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Tigray Water Resource Bureau Room One Wash National program procurement section Room number No 104(old building) and inspect the bidding document during office hours 8:30 AM to 8:00 A to 5:30 PM local time starting from May 04/2018

5 A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders up on payment of a nonrefundable fee of 150 Ethiopian Birr , The method of payment will be on Cash .The document will be delivered in person

6 Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before June 01/2018 @9:00 AM. Electronic bidding will not be permitted . Late bids will be rejected . Bids will be publicly opened in the presence of the bidders designated representative and anyone who choose to attend at the address below on June 01/2018 @9:10

7 All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security as stated in the above table in the from of CPO or unconditional Bank guarantee valid for 60 days + 28 days price validity
