Adigrat and Maychew Towns have received a loan from water resource development fund(WRDF) for the construction of distribution networks of the respective Towns Now, Tigray regional state; water resources bureau on behalf of the two towns intends to apply part of the funds to cover eligible payments under the contract No. TRWB/AM/BF/001/2017 for the construction of distribution of networks for Adigrat and Maychew.

The Tigray Bureau of Water Resource now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders having Vat Certificate ,Vat declaration for the month of March 2009 EC , TIN Number, renewed business license for 2017 and renewed water works certificate

1 Qualification and requirement and evaluation requirements include: technical, financial, personnel, equipment and legal requirements. Additional requirements may be provided in the bidding documents

2 Bidding will be conducted through the National Completive Bidding procedures as specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines

3 interested contractors has to provide information on available construction tools such as Dump truck, Hand compactor , Mixer, and vehicle, experience in similar project, available skilled man power and other relevant information as specified in the bidding document.

4 bids shall valid for a period of Ninety (90) days after Bid opening and must accompanied by bid security of birr Lot-1( Adigrat): ETB 380,000 and Lot-2 Maychew): ETB,250,000 in the form of unconditional bank guarantee , or CPO and they shall be delivered to the above office on or before bid closing date at /fore 9:00 AM , june 1,2017.

5 Bids shall be opened at 9:10 A.M on June 1, 2017 in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who wish to attend.Electronic bidding will not be permitted . Late bids will be rejected

6 Interested bidders will be requested to offer one original and two copies of technical and financial proposals separately but sealed in on envelop as specified in the bidding documents to be provided.
