Call for External Audit Service

Heal Our People(HOP) is legally registered by the Authority for Civil Society Organizations in accordance with Civil Society Organizations Proclamation No 1113/2019 with a registration No 6696 as an Ethiopian non for-profit, non-governmental organization in accordance with the Accountings and Audit Board of Ethiopia/AABE/ Proclamation No 847/2014 and Civil Society Organizations Proclamation No 1113/2019. HOP is required to submit an annual audit report at the end of each fiscal year. Accordingly, HOP would like to invite qualified Audit firm to conduct auditing of HOP's Accounts for the year to be ended in December 2025 and the following three consecutive years. The Audit firm must be certified by and have an authorization by the office of AABE.

Eligibility Criteria

The following requirements should be fulfilled to participate in the bidding for the audit service and interested audit firms are kindly requested to submit their technical and financial proposals in a sealed envelope which includes

  • Firm profile
  • Copy of renewed /recent professional and/or business license
  • Copy of certificate of compliance from the office of AABE
  • Copy of TIN Certificate
  • Have demonstrated experience in and evidence of auditing experience with NGOS/CSOs

Scope of the service

The scope of service of the auditing service is indicated below:

  • The firm is required to audit HOP's financial statement of each fiscal year For the year 2025, the Audit is expected to audit 04 box files of accounting documents
  • The major deliverables of the auditing services are financial consolidated report and management letter

HOP reserves the right to accept or reject the bid and the annual bidding process any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to bidders.

How to apply?

Applicant should submit their expression of interest and audit fee in a separately sealed envelope in person to HOP's office which is located at Hadnet Sub-city, kebele 18, around Dr Fitsum clinic (in front of fretsama pension) Mekelle, Tigray within 7 working days afterthis announcement. In their proposal bidders are kindly required to provide the fee for the audit service, documents of the annual audit and submission date of the final audit report.
