INVITATION TO TENDER FOR Sport GYM Materials

SOS CHILDREN’S VILLAGES ETHIOPIA is part of a global humanitarian organization dedicated to improving the care of children deprived of parental care. We provide Family-like Care and Social Services for vulnerable families through our Family Strengthening Projects.

Currently, we operate in seven locations; Addis Ababa, Bahir Dar, Mekelle, Jimma, Harar, Hawassa, and Gode with additional satellite projects in each Region and the National Office in Addis Ababa.

And hereby SOS Children’s Village, Tigray MHPSS Project, wants to procure different sport /Gym materials with a detailed specification listed here below and invites suppliers who fulfill the following legal preconditions to submit a sealed tender per the specification details, Instructions to Bidders, and General Terms and Conditions of Purchase as described hereunder:

1.Possess a legal trade license and Trade registration in the field of sport materials provision.

2.Provide VAT registration and VAT declaration of the period with TIN certificate.

3.Those who can provide a legal /formal witness letter that the supplier has registered license /permission in the fiscal year to provide similar goods and /or services

4.Provide specification catalogue in the spec documents

5.Provide witness letters from his past supply experiences

6.Providing all necessary documents with legal stamps and signatures

7.The sport materials will be distributed to Mekelle office and then the winner of the bid will be expected to deliver the items to SOS CVE, Mekelle program location with his/her own transportation. Then the price to be filled must consider these costs too.

8.The winning seller must make a formal agreement with us within three days from the time he/she is notified as a winner and can submit the items within a week after the agreement is made.

9.The winner will be expected to submit collateral of Birr 200,000 in CPO form written in the name of SOS CHILDREN’S VILLAGES from well-known /legal bank during the submission of the bid documents on the date of opening.

10.Tenders must be submitted in two sealed envelopes, one original Technical, and one original Financial Separately with their respective copies in two different envelopes, bearing an official company seal, and marked by the “bidders’ name, address, and the tender reference number and title as stated above.

11.The payment will then be made after the provision of the items and checking the quality by the respective professionals

12. Our firm will not abide by the bidding process in case any better alternative is found, and this may include full cancellation.

13. After opening the bid, we have the privilege to add or deduct the items amount up to 20% from the proposed number of materials.

14. Tenders must be submitted in the bid box prepared for this purpose at SOS Children’s Village Ethiopia, Mekelle program location, located in Semen sub city kebele industry near Trans Ethiopia or National office in Addis Ababa, located at Bole Atlas in front of Mado Hotel on 27 November 2025, on or before 3:00 PM.

15. SOS Children Village in Ethiopia Procurement Committee will then open the tender responses on November 28, 2025, at 02:30 pm at its discretion places, Mekelle and A.Ababa at the same date and time in the presence of the bidders or their legal representatives.

16. The detailed specifications of the Sport /GYM materials are stated here below and sample pictures also attached with this bid advertisement.
