INVITATION TO BID

Ethiopian Catholic Church-Social and Development Commission Adigrat Branch (ECC-SDCOAdB) - (Joint Emergency Operation (JEOP) project) is seeking bids for supply and delivery of 30 Laptop & 18 Desktop HP Computers, 15 Internet Packet Routers, 6 Projectors, 21 dividers & 6 Speakers. Therefore, any eligible, qualified and interested relevant suppliers fulfilling the following minimum criteria should get bid document from ECC-SDCOAdB Adigrat main office Procurement Section from 20/08/2025 to 27/08/2025 G.C up on payment of none re-fundable Birr 200.00 during working hours of the Office.

a) The interested eligible suppliers shall present renewed and relevant license for 2017/2018 E.C, registration certificate issued from relevant government office, VAT registration certificate and Tax Identification Number (TIN).

b) The bidder should secure a bid bond only through CPO 2% from recognized bank for the Cumulative bid value including VAT/TOT. Pledging cash or other assets as a bid bond not allowed.

c) The suppliers should provide a minimum one-year guarantee for the electronic materials, as part of their bid submission.

d) All prices shall be quoted according to the given specifications only without any alterations to the specification, and no substitute materials shall be accepted.

e) Each bidder will submit only one bid. A bidder that submits bid document more than once either himself/herself or as a partner in a joint venture will be automatically disqualified from the bid competition.

f) Any bid, submitted with incorrect information will be liable for rejection and the bidder may be prohibited from participation in the future other tendering processes.

g) An electronic bidding system /online bidding/ is not an option and will not be allowed for this particular procurement process.

h) Once the Bid submitted in sealed cover by the bidder, the office will not accept any addition /alterations/ deletions of the Bid.

i) The price quoted shall be filled in Ethiopian Birr including taxes, transportation costs, loading unloading and other related costs.

j) The bidder shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of his/her bid. ECC- SDCOADB will in no single case, be responsible or liable for those costs regardless of the conduct or outcome of the bidding process.

k) The bid winner should submit the materials in a maximum of 2 (two) days from the date of purchase order, otherwise, ECC-SDCOAdB may unconditionally deposit the bid bond and take other preferable options.

1) Bids must be submitted on 27/08/2025 G.C between 2:00-2:30 Pm (afternoon 8:00 - 8:30 local time) only to the prepared bid box in ECC-SDCOAdB main office in Adigrat.

m) The Bid will be officially closed on 27/08/2025 G.C at 2:31 Pm (L.T 8:31) in the presence of interested bidders or their representatives who choose to attend and ECC-SDCOAdB concerned committee.

n) Bids will be opened on 27/08/2025G.C at 2:45 Pm (8:45 local time) in venue of ECC-SDCOADB Hall in the presence of interested bidders or their representatives and ECC-SDCOAdB concerned committee.

6) ECC-SDCOAdB reserves the right to reject partially and/or completely this bid at any level of bid processing if another better alternative is available.
