Special Educational Needs in Ethiopia, in short SENEthiopia is a national CSO working collaboratively with state and non-state actors to promote and facilitate disability-inclusion in Ethiopia through Inclusive Education, Inclusive Health and Disability and Development Initiatives.
Under the project of "Provision of Safe, Protective, Inclusive, and Quality Education for Pre and primary school-aged girls and boys including children with disabilities, SENEthiopia now invites interested bidders to submit "Bid" for the Supply of Hearing Aids. The hearing aids will be fitted for children with hearing impairment situated in the target Woredas and schools there in. The bidders need to understand that they will provide post Service Follow-up and Support. The bidders should be able to calculate the number of hearing aids and cost of fitting and post- service and follow-up support.
A complete set of bidding documents is available for issuance to eligible bidders upon payment of Birr 300 at SENEthiopiaMekelle, Hadnet Sub-City, KebelleSimret.
Bids shall be valid for a period of 15 Consecutive days after submission of bids and must be accompanied by the following documents:
• Renewed business license of hearing loss evaluation, measuring and levelling of hearing loss according to WHO standards and fitting with appropriate hearing aid;
• Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and Audiology training certificate:
• VAT registration Certificate;
• Tax payer Identification Number (TIN):
• Supplierer/s Certificate;
Bid Security in the name of SENEthiopia 2% of Bid amount in the form of CPO.
Bids must be delivered in hard copy to SENEthiopia - Mekelle, Hadnet Sub-City, KebelleSimret on or before 31 March, 2025 9:00 AM. Electronic bidding is not permitted. Late bids will be rejected.
Bids will be publicly opened at the above address, on 31 March 2025 9:30 AM in the presence of the Bidders who wish to attend.
NB!! Bidders Must Bring Sample's of the goods at the time, on the date and at the place of bid opening.
SENEthiopia reserves the right to accept or reject any bids, and to cancel the procurement process and reject all bids at any time prior to award of Contract, without obligation to inform the affected Bidder's of the ground for SENEthiopia action.
