1. The Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Institute (ATI) has received funds from the Agency Françoise de Development (The French Development Agency) and the European Union towards the cost of the FARM Project. It is intended that part of the proceeds of these funds will be applied to eligible payments under the contract for the Supply and Delivery of 45-Day-Old Sasso Breed Pullets, Including Transportation Costs, for the Tigray Region.
2. The Ethiopian Agricultural Transformation Institute (ATI) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the procurement of 45-day-old Sasso Breed Pullets, Including Transportation Costs, for the Tigray Region

3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the Bidding Documents at the office of the below-mentioned address and inspect the Bidding Documents between the hours of 8:30 AM to 05:30 P.M.
4.A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ethiopian Birr 1,000 (ETB One Thousand only). The method of payment will be in Cash or CPO. The cash sum must be deposited at the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia in the name of the Agricultural Transformation Institute in Account No: 1000659472698 and the application letter and cash deposit receipt must be submitted to the Procurement/Finance department to participate in this bid.
5. The provisions in the Instructions to Bidders and in the General Conditions of Contract are the provisions of the Agence Franyaise de Development's Bidding Documents for Procurement of Goods.
6. Bids must be delivered to the office below on or before 2:00 PM, March 26, 2025, and must be accompanied by Lot I= ETB 60,000.00, Lot II ETB 50,000.00, Lot III = ETB 60,000.00 Lot IV ETB 110,000.00 & Lot V=ETB 150,000.00 in the form of CPO or Bank Guarantee.
7. Bids will be opened to the public and in the presence of the bidders' representatives who choose to attend at 2:30 PM March 26, 2025, at the below-mentioned office & address.
8. Qualification criteria are as follows: Bidder should submit a copy of renewed Trade License, VAT Registration certificate, tax clearance certificate, PPPA supplier registration certificate and TIN certificate with their technical proposal. The purchaser reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Additional details are provided in the Bidding Documents.
