INVITATION FOR BID

TENDER NO. MCF PLC 49/2016

Messebo Cement Factory PLC (MCF PLC) invites eligible bidders for the supply of 13 units of Vehicles as follows.

  • Mini Bus Half Van = (5 Seats) 01 unit.
  • Station Wagon with (7 Seats) 4WD, Diesel = 02 unit.
  • Pick Up D/cabin 4WD Diesel (5 Seats) = 10 unit.

Note: All the Vehicles are to be delivered to the Messebo Cement Factory plant site and Quoted in Ethiopian Birr including all Government taxes (DDP Messebo Plant premises).

  1. Bid documents can be collected from Addis Ababa Messebo Cement Factory Liaison Office Wegagen Bank Building 3rd floor in front of Stadium or Mekelle Messebo Cement Factory Plc Head office effective from the day of 1st announcement against payment of non-refundable Birr 500.00
  2. Bidders must submit a valid trade license renewed for the 2016 Ethiopian Calendar and a VAT register certificate.
  3. All Bids must be submitted their bid in wax-sealed and stamped envelopes on or before the closing date which is 18/07/2024 G.C. 10:00 AM and would be addressed and marked as follows.
  4. Bidders must submit their technical and financial offers in two copies separately by coming in person to MCF Plc's head office in Mekelle or A.A liaison office, Wegagen Bank Building 3rd floor in front of Stadium.
  5. Bids will be opened on July 18/07/2024 G.C. at 10:15 AM (European time) in the presence of interested bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at Messebo Cement Factory PLC Head office.
  6. The bid must be accompanied by a bid guarantee of Birr 2% of the total price in the form of a C.P.O or Bank Guarantee. And must be submitted in separate wax-sealed and stamped envelopes.
  7. All bids that come after the closing date of the tender will be rejected.
  8. Messebo Cement Factory pic reserves the right to reject the bid fully or partially.
