Mekelle University: want to procure Building Renovation and Maintenance Work

Submission of audited balance sheets and other financial statements as required in the BDS Clause 17, for the past [insert number of years] years to demonstrate the current soundness of the Bidder's financial position and its prospective long-term profitability.

The Peak annual turnover calculated as total certified construction work payments received for contracts in progress or completed within the past Five years.

The Bidder must demonstrate access to, or availability of, financial resources such as liquid assets, unencumbered real assets, lines of credit, and other financial means, other than any contractual advance payments to meet the cash-flow requirement.

Bidder has to submit valid business license indicating the stream of business in which the Bidder is engaged, in accordance with ITB Clause 4.5(b)(i);

In case of Partnerships, Consortium or Joint Ventures, the bidder submit a separate Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form for each member; disclose at least one of the following: -

1) Directly or indirectly holding 10% or more of the shares.

2) Directly or indirectly holding 10% or more of the Voting Rights or

3) Directly or indirectly having the right to appoint a majority of the board of Directors or an equivalent governing body of the consultant or

4) Whether a person directly or indirectly exercises significant influence or control over the Company (tendered)

Bidder has to submit business organization registration certificate in accordance with ITB Clause 4.5(c).

In the case of a bid submitted by a Partnership, Consortium or a joint venture (JV), the Bidder has to submit the Form Data on Partnership, Consortium or Joint Ventures, the Agreement governing the formation of joint venture, or letter of intent to form Partnership, Consortium or Joint Venture, including a draft agreement, in accordance with ITB Clause 4.1.

Bidder has to submit a valid tax clearance certificate issued by the tax authority in accordance with ITB Clause 4.5(b)(iii).

Bidder has to submit VAT registration certificate issued by the tax authority (in case of contract value specified in BDS Clause 4.5(b)(ii)), in accordance with ITB Clause 4. 5(b)(ii).;

Bidder has not been debarred by a decision of the Public Procurement and Property Administration Authority from participating in public procurements for breach of its obligation under previous contracts, in accordance with ITB Clause 4.3;

Bidder does have nationality in accordance with ITB Clause 4.2.

Bidder is found to have a conflict of interest as described in ITB Clause 6;

Bidder has failed to provide CVs of the Professional staff signed by the staff themselves or by the authorized representative of the Professional Staff.

Bidder has to demonstrate in its Technical Proposal that it will have the personnel for the key positions that meet requirements

Bidder has to provide in the Bidder Certification of Compliance Form information related to its professional qualification and capability for the period specified in the BDS Clause 15.1;

Bidder has to submit relevant professional practice certificates, if required in BDS Clause 4.5(b)(iv).

All pending litigation shall in total not represent more than ,,,, [insert requiredpercent] percent of the Bidder’s net worth and shall be treated as resolved against the Bidder.

Non-performance of a contract did not occur within the last [insert required number of years] years prior to the deadline for Bid submission, based on all information on fully settled disputes or litigation. General experience in Construction Sector as Contractor, Subcontractor and Joint Venture Minimum ----- years' experience,

Bidder has to submit Certificates of satisfactory execution of contracts provided by contracting parties to the contracts successfully completed in the period and budget as specified in the BDS Clause 16.3 with a budget of at least,,, that of this contract.
