Invitation to Bid
The Ethiopian Evangelical Church Mekane Yesus Development and Social Services Commission (EECMY-DASSC-NAW) is issuing this bid for purchasing of Food item, Quality, clean First grade white Teff, as per Ethiopian standard, Imported first grade Rice (Omar), and First grade edible oil (Kado 3 litter packed) including transportation, loading and unloading service for, EECMY DASSC NAW- BO Adwa Mekane Yesus Child Development project ET - 0580 in, Adwa town, Tigray Regional State
The commission (EECMY-DASSC-NAW) invites reputable, reliable and licensed wholesaler suppliers to the bid in line with the following conditions and specifications.
1. Interested and eligible bidders can obtain further detail information's directly from the DASSC-NAW-BO at the address given below during office hours within the indicated dates.
2. For any interested bidder the bid announcement is opened starting from August 20/2026 up to August 27 /2026 4:00 PM from the date of the announcement in the social media at the address given below.
3. Interested Bidders are requested to deliver sealed bid documents original and copy of Financial proposal separately envelope to EECMY-DASSC-BO- Tigray Mekelle, (located near Tigray police commission or in front of Atse Yohannes Elementary school) within Seven (8) consecutive days from the announcement of this bid on social media.
4. Winner Suppliers are requested to provide and deliver valid VAT registered machine receipt or BERHANENA SELAM PRINTING ENTERPRISE QR CODE Cash sales Valid receipt
5. Bids shall be valid for a period of thirty (30) days after Bid opening. Bids must be accompanied by bid bond of Birr Ten Thousand (15,000.00) in the form of Cashier's. Payment Order (CPO) and shall be marked payable to EECMY- DASSC-NAW and issued by eligible Ethiopian Bank.
6. Winner suppliers are requested to prepare a bid bond of 10% of the total amount of the price in the form of payment order (CPO) and shall be marked payable to EECMY - DASSC NAW and issued by eligible Ethiopian Bank.
7. Bidders must attach valid business/trade license, VAT registration, supplier data Registration certificate for the current year, Tax clearance, good performance evidence and past work experience in related field.
8. Bids shall be closed on August 27/ 2026 at 4:00 PM and will be opened on the same date August 27/ 2026 at 4:30 PM, at the EECMY - DASSC- BO- Mekelle (located near Tigray police commission or in front of Atse Yohannes Elementary school) in the presence of bidders or duly authorized representatives who wish to attend. The commission, (EECMY-DASSC) reserves the right to partially or as whole to change or cancel the bid.
9. A complete set of the bid document/TOR may be purchased by any interested and eligible bidder on the submission of a written application fo the above mentioned office up on payment of non-refundable ETB 500.00 (Five hundred birr only) to Awash bank EECMY - DASSC NAW Administration credit account 01308190970701
10. BID documents must be submitted in English (clearly labeled with company name, address and legal stamp)
11. Submission of Bid after the dead line will not considered and accepted.
12. Electronic Bids are not allowed.
13. The bidder/supplier shall quote a unit price and total price for every item specified in the Schedule of Requirements/Price Schedule. Partial quotation or failure to quote any item may result in the bid being considered non-responsive.
14. The bid evaluation and arithmetic checking shall be conducted item by item. The procuring entity will verify the unit price, quantity, and calculated total amount for each item separately.
15. In case of any arithmetic error or discrepancy between the unit price and the total price, the procuring entity shall apply the arithmetic correction in accordance with the applicable procurement rules and the provisions of this bidding document.
16. The bidder must ensure that all quoted prices are accurate, complete, and clearly indicated for each individual item. The final evaluation and award may be made item by item based on the lowest evaluated responsive price for each item, subject to compliance with all technical and other requirements.
17. Therefore, bidders are strongly advised to carefully check their unit prices, quantities, extensions, subtotals, and grand totals before submitting their bids.
18. The winner should supply the items in accordance with the requirement or specification of the BID, i.e in quantity, quality and time. But if the winner supplier fails to deliver the items in accordance with the requirements, our organization is not bound by this BID.
19. Winner suppliers must be Material delivered within maximum of 10 days after having agreement.

The total payment will pay after the winner supplier supplies the material. based on the specifications and standards to our organization.
2. General Condition
✔ Our organization reserves the right to accept, rejects of modify bids without explanation.
✔ Partial bids may be considered if advantageous to the project.
