Title: Procurement and Installation of a 10 kW Solar Electricity System for Guya Health Center
Dear Prospective Bidder,
MAEDOTAID Charity Organization formally invites qualified, eligible, and technically capable suppliers and contractors to submit a sealed proforma for procurement of supply, installation and commissioning of a complete 10 kW solar electricity system at Guya Health Center. The selected bidder will be fully responsible for providing all equipment, materials, mounting structures, civil/foundation works, transportation, and earthing systems in accordance with our project specifications.
1. Mandatory Eligibility Requirements
Interested contractors must present clear, legible copies of the following documents to be considered for evaluation:
• Completed and officially signed proforma/financial bid..
• Valid business license for the Ethiopian Fiscal Year 2018 E.C., relevant to solar or electrical works and Valid Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) certificate.
• Up-to-date taxpayer registration and compliance certificate.
• Valid VAT registration certificate and compliance documentation.
• Relevant sector-specific licenses or certifications
2. Financial & Security Terms
Bid Security: A 2% bid security of the total bid price must be submitted in the form of a Cash Payment Order (CPO) issued by an authorized bank under the National Bank of
Performance Guarantee: The winning bidder must provide a 10% contract value CPO in the name of MAEDOTAID Charity Organization, valid until December 31, 2026.
Warranty: A comprehensive 2-year warranty covering the supplied solar system equipment, installation, and workmanship is strictly required,
3. Submission and formatting requirement
Tender Fee: A non-refundable document fee of ETB 500.00 applies. Bidding documents are available for purchase during official working hours from 11 August to 17 August 2026.
Format: Technical and financial components must be submitted separately in sealed, signed, and stamped envelopes. The outer envelope must clearly state the bidder's full name, physical address, signature, and stamp.
Project Delivery: The successful contractor must sign the formal contract within two (2) working days of the award notice and complete full installation within three (3) weeks.
