INVITATION TO BID for the Supply of Famix, Wheat Flour and Edible Vegetable Oil.

Salesians of Don Bosco Ethiopia, with the financial support of AICS – the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation – is pleased to invite qualified suppliers to submit quotations for the supply of Famix, Wheat Flour and Edible Vegetable Oil to vulnerable households affected by the humanitarian crisis in Tigray under the project RELIEF/AID13057, activity A.1.a.8.

Eligible and competent suppliers can participate in this local open tender for the supply and delivery of:

• Lot 1 Famix,
• Lot 2 Wheat Flour and
• Lot 3 Edible Vegetable Oil

All commodities shall comply with the technical specifications outlined in the bid document and Comply with Ethiopian Food and Drug Authority (EFDA) requirements and other applicable national food safety standards.

The successful bidder shall supply, transport, deliver, unload, and hand over the required food commodities to the designated warehouse of Don Bosco Adwa.

The bidder shall include all transportation, loading, unloading, insurance, taxes, and any other associated costs in the quoted price.

All items, be packed according to the standards specified in the Tender document, and all items should be transported by the supplier to Salesian of Don Bosco Adwa Office, including unloading.

Interested eligible bidders who fulfil the below listed criteria;

i. Renewed trade license for the supply of hygiene/dignity kits 2018E.C (2025/26 G, C).

ii. VAT registration and valid tax clearance certificate.

iii. No current litigation or disputes.

• Bidders shall submit one (1) original Technical Proposal and one (1) original Financial Proposal for the supplied kits/items, together with one (1) copy of each. The Technical and Financial Proposals must be placed in separate envelopes, clearly marked “Original” and “Copy.” All inner envelopes shall then be placed in a single outer envelope, which must be properly sealed and stamped.
• Only bidders capable of delivering the full quantities within one week from the signing of the contract shall be eligible to participate.

For Lot 2 and 3 the tender document accompanied by the relevant supporting document must be submitted to Salesian of Don Bosco Adwa Office before August 3, 2026 until 5:00 PM. The bid will be closed on August 03, 2026 at 5:30 PM.

N:B The organization reserves the right to accept or reject the bid either partially or fully.
