Invitation to Bid for Long term Vehicle Rental

Since 1970, Samaritan's Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine to share God's love through His Son, Jesus Christ. The organization serves the community worldwide to promote the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Samaritan's Purse invites legally recognized vehicle rental companies to provide the following vehicle types for the 2026/27 G.C. The selected company will sign a one-year framework agreement based on the specified vehicle types and locations.

Eligible Bidders should meet the following criteria:
- Renewed trade licenses and legal registrations
- Tax/ VAT Registration Certificate
- Bid Guarantee 100,000 ETB for two months; and for the winner, the guarantee will continue up to the end of the contract period as a performance guarantee
- The quote's validity should be for a minimum of two months.
- The price should be valid for One Year or more. The price will remain the same for one year after signing a framework agreement.
- Desired payment terms and conditions must be indicated.
- Bidders from the region and project areas are encouraged to apply, and partial awards can be given as necessary.
- Having written references and previous proven experience with NGOs and international organizations, demonstrating at least one year of relevant work, is considered an additional advantage.
Bid Submission Guidelines
- The technical document (company profile) and financial proposal should be submitted separately based on the above requirements, and no copy of the document is required.
- The vehicle must be a model (year of manufacture) of not older than 2010, and be in good condition and have air conditioner.
- The vehicles must be provided with a driver; Samaritan's Purse will cover for fuel consumption.
- Under the framework agreement, vehicles are immediately required for the following locations: Afar Region (Afambo and Teru), Amhara Region (Jarra, Kobo, Harra, Debre Berhan, and Sekota), Tigray Region (Shire, Hitsats, Adwa, and Mekelle), and surrounding areas.
- This tender advertisement serves as a formal RFQ; no additional documents are provided, and the final number of vehicles may be adjusted as necessary.
- Failure to meet the above eligibility criteria and bid submission guidelines will automatically disqualify the bidder from the tender.
- The documents should be clearly labeled, signed, and sealed, "Bid for Long term Vehicle Rental PR1040AD"
- All documents should be hand-delivered and placed in a Tender Box at the reception area in our office located at the address below or emailed to SPEthiopiaBids@samaritan.org no later than June 22, 2026, before 2:00 PM.
- The bid will be opened without the presence of bidders based on organizational policy, and the organization reserves the right to cancel the bid, partially or in full.
